MC Labour the proud match day partner of the CARLTON RESPECTS game.

Sunday 11 March, 2018 marked the first AFLW CARLTON RESPECTS match and MC Labour could not have been prouder to be a part of it. With the players donning orange socks – the international colour for harmony, and CARLTON RESPECTS brand – they took to the field with a united goal to help promote gender equality for the prevention of violence against women.

With over 6,000 spectators in attendance, the iconic Ikon Park stadium was a buzz. The pre-game MC Traffic centre was a huge hit with kids of all ages. Kicking goals for CARLTON RESPECTS. All participants who kicked a footy into the back of the MC Traffic Ute received a MC Labour / CARLTON RESPECTS cap.

The Match

This eye-catching orange cap was designed in honour of the round 6 Carlton v Melbourne partnership match. And didn’t go unnoticed in the stands throughout the match.

Out on the field was not as happy a day for the Carlton fans. The Carlton game-plan failed to worry Melbourne as the Demons flooded the midfield from the first bounce. Proving successful in keeping the hosts pinned inside their defensive 50 for the first quarter.

However, the day was a huge success overall. Achieving the goal of raising awareness of the amazing cause that is The Blues Foundation CARLTON RESPECTS. Social media booming with #CarltonRespects on all platforms. If you would like more information please click here.

MC Labour Services has been a prominent sponsor of the Carlton Football Club for many years and could not be prouder to be building a strong relationship in support of CARLTON RESPECTS. The round 6 match day partnership is just one of many initiatives MC Labour Services is involved in. Raising both awareness and founds for this valuable cause.
