MC Labour’s Biggest Morning Tea
On Thursday 24 May, 2018 MC Labour Services joined in on the Cancer Council Biggest Morning Tea. Hosting a fabulous event at the Fitzroy National Head office we asked all staff bring a plate to share. A spectacular spread from hot Party Pies and pigs in blankets to delicate slices and cupcakes there really was something for everyone.
With the simple request of a gold coin donation from staff to attend the Morning Tea, plus an exciting raffle and games on the day. MC Labour is honored to announce they have hit the ground running with this first event. Raising an astonishing $324.50 for the Cancer Council. Money that will change lives in so many ways.
A simple $155 helps provided transport and a night’s stay at a local Cancer Council Lodge for people who need to travel for vital cancer treatment. (Click here to find out more ways that these much needed funds can make a big difference to those dealing with cancer)
Amazing feedback from staff and outstanding participation by all, The MC Labour Services Biggest Morning Tea is looking like becoming an annual event with their sights set even higher next year. The enthusiasm shown within the office just reinforces the company values. MC Labour Services really is a family business, just a very big, growing family now.
A huge thank you to all MC Labour Services staff for their contribution. Unfortunately, it is hard to not have been touched by cancer these days. Which is why it is such a passionate cause for so many people. Working across all areas of cancer, the Cancer Council is involved in Research, Prevention, Support and Advocacy. Every dollar counts towards a cancer free future.
