PPE Requirements - Long and long policy

Attn: MC Labour and MC Traffic on-site employees

Please refer to the below information regarding the MC Labour Services Pty Ltd and MC Traffic Management Pty Ltd policy on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

It is compulsory that all MC Labour and MC Traffic on-site staff follow the below minimum requirements at all sites at all times.  MC Labour and MC Traffic staff must wear LONG pants and LONG sleeve shirts on every site. It is an MC Labour policy.

Please refer to the Personal Protective Equipment Policy that is signed off by all MC Labour and MC Traffic employees during their induction.

Construction/civil/rail
Minimum requirement:
  • Long sleeve shirt
  • Long trousers
  • Steel capped boots
  • High visibility vest, shirt or jacket
  • Hard Hat

And other task specific uniform where required (eg, gloves, safety glasses, masks, gumboots etc).

Traffic management
Minimum requirement:
  • Long sleeve shirt
  • Long trousers
  • Steel capped boots
  • High visibility vest or shirt
  • Hard Hat
  • Vic Roads approved vest
