MC Labour is excited to expand its services to Queensland. The new office is located at 3/137 Brisbane Road, Mooloolaba, located 97 kilometres north of the state capital, Brisbane, and is part of the Maroochydore urban centre.
“We are working towards providing skilled, trained and qualified personnel to even more organisations in Australia. Securing exclusivity of labour hire/trades for the the Barcaldine Solar Farm project was a milestone for the MC Group. We have a dynamic and passionate team in our Queensland team and confident that they will take MC Labour to the next level” says Marc Lunedei, Founder and Managing Director, MC Labour Services.
The project site is approximately 93 hectares and will feature around 79,000 solar modules. Each solar module is approximately three metres wide and stands two metres off the ground.
The project is expected to generate approximately 53,500 megawatt hours of clean, renewable power each year. Reducing annual greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 50,000 tonnes per annum (CO2 equivalent), the project reduces reliance on fossil fuels and other non-renewable energy sources.
As Queensland’s biggest solar farm built in Barcaldine has begun generating and feeding electricity into the grid, we at MC Labour would like to congratulate and thank our MC Labourers for their contribution to this project. Be proud guys.
